Our Mission

Story Book Saint Bernard Kennels takes pride in the puppies we raise. We only breed a few litters each year, so we can carefully control the quality of our puppies.
 Over the years we have had a number of conformation champions out of the open and bred-by classes in AKC shows. We have shown numerous dogs in obedience and earned AKC obedience titles and have been presented the Highest Achievement in obedience by the SBCA in 1986, 1995 and 1996.
 We have also personally trained 3 of our own Saints to achieve AKC Tracking Dog Titles (TD) (they are trained to follow a human scent).
 We have trained a number of Saints in Drafting (pulling a cart) and have achieved the Draft Dog title from the SBCA. Dan is also a member of the Working Dog Committee of the SBCA as well as a Draft Dog competition Judge and has held various offices in the Great Salt Lake Saint Bernard Club (Utah). He is also a member of the Great Salt Lake Dog Training Club.
 We promote humane education and engage in various activities designed to enhance public awareness of our breed and the needs of animals in general.
